I WAS THERE ON WEDNESDAY TO SPEAK WITH
Joseph Melancon AT 3PM. THERE WAS NO NOTE ON THE DOOR AND NO ONE ABOUT…EVERYTHING LOCKED. NO PHONE NUMBER TO CALL.

I WENT TO THE GALLERY NEXT DOOR AND THERE WAS A SIGN ON THE DOOR..BE BACK AT 3pm. IT WAS 3:30 THEN AT 3:45 I LEFT. WAS IT SIESTA TIME AND EVERYONE WAS SLEEPING????????

Judy, PLEASE check out the WAshington Post today–July 22, STYLE section. Article entitled “The Matisse we don’t know”. It’s about his Black and White period–with one additional color (1913-1917). The photos in the print version of the paper are stunning and informative. Show is at the Museum of Modern Art in NY thru Oct 11.

I saw a Live Oak edition with you Rhea, William Hemmerling, and others. I was showing my work at Fest for All in Baton Rouge when i met Bill at his gallery. He was sick with Chemo, but gave me a couple hours of his time. He died 3 months later. I love your paintings.i would love to see you. I missed this art education Let me know of any more in the futere.
